Normally, I'd not leave any words on Wordless Wednesdays. But in light of the fact that the Oregon National Guard has finally come home; I thought I'd pay tribute to the fallen soldiers of our past wars. Dodgeman and I visited the travelling Wall Memorial on Sunday, and there are no words to explain how we felt. The picture here is just one of the many panels that are in the tribute. If the Wall comes to your town be sure to go see it, touch it, remember them and most of all give thanks to our veterans for our FREEDOM! IT MEANS SO MUCH TO THEM.

Scrap book fever
I recently took on the opportunity of becoming an assisstant manager of a friend's scrapbook store; we have much to accomplish in the next few days!!
So far, we have the water color pens in all of their proper slots color coordinated and such. We have yet to put the paper in their spots, decorate the rooms according to style and features. We've managed to ace the alarm system and remembering the code, figured out how to use the CD changer and volume control on the stereo......still the idea of putting all this together in a matter of 11 days is a bit mind boggling!!!
Did I mention that the "Sneak Peek" is only 3 days away?? No....I did not. Well then eight days after that.....is the GRAND OPENING!!!!
Until then you may not see me for awhile.......and if you do? Please don't look too closely at the condition and state of my frazzled-ness!!!!

Lucky Stall # 2......don't ask!
Lucky stall # 2!! I always pick the wrong bathroom stall; for whatever reason that may have happened I'm the one who found herself with no seat protector, no toilet paper and not even a lousy hook to hang my jacket let alone my purse!
I wanted to post a picture of some outhouse located somewhere in th middle of a pasture; but like my luck that I experienced this evening......it just wasn't meant to be!

Where oh where is..........
Where oh where have I gone to you may wonder?
Well, to be precise.....I took a job that required me to be on my feet almost 4 hours straight!! Now when I'm at the salon I'm gladly on my feet; I want to be on my feet because its part of my job.
The "other" job is a home care giver's position; the gentleman I worked for did not believe in the "caregiver" resting a few minutes nor did he believe that it was necessary to be polite to his caregiver.
What he didn't realize is that it is very important to be on his best behavior, polite and thoughtful......I'm sure he's regretting that now as I've left my post because he felt that I wasn't "flexible" enough to accomodate his grueling schedule!
I apologize for venting to you but if you've been wondering where I wandered off to......I've since returned to my former wonderful, stressless, funny sense of humor self; AND I would love hearing from you in the future!!!!
